The Governing Body of Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred met on 18th January 2023 to review and consider the responses of the admissions consultation. Following careful consideration, the Governing Body agreed to determine the Admission Arrangements for 2024-2025 which can be found below.

Reception Applications
The Academy has an admission number of 90 in Reception for September 2025. If your child was born If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, you must apply for their reception school place for September 2025.
Applications for places in Reception should be made on the home Local Authority’s Common Application Form. These are accessible on the LA’s website and should be submitted in accordance with the LA’s published deadlines for applications (normally early to mid-January before the academic year in which the child is eligible for entry).

In-Year Applications
If you are looking for a place in Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred because you have recently moved into the area, or your child is at another primary school and you feel that a change of school would benefit their education and/or general well-being, you are entitled to apply for a school place.
If you wish to make an in-year application you must contact the Admissions Team at Thurrock Council who will advise you of how to apply either in person or online.
