Wider Opportunities
Our Clubs Provision
From spring 2024 we have running our free clubs on a Wednesday night. We offer every child from Reception- Year 6 in the academy the opportunity to attend a club and therefore all pupils will remain in the academy until 4pm on Wednesdays. We have included the answers to frequently asked questions below.
We will open the school gates at 4pm just as we would do at 3.15pm at the end of the day and you can collect from your child's normal classroom.
Please note that if you opt out and change your mind, parents will not be able to opt in again until the beginning of the next school term
This brochure outlines the clubs that will be available to the children. These clubs will continue throughout the year and your child will have the opportunity to access all of them.
If children attend a club but wish to swap to another one, this is not a problem. We will be offering the opportunity to try out other clubs across the term.

They will be escorted by their teachers. Clubs will be mostly situated in the classrooms in your child's year group.
What if my child has an appointment?
We would ask parents not to arrange appointments on Wednesdays after school as this will be disruptive to the clubs that are running and difficult for our office team to manage.

We run a variety of clubs that include cooking, dancing, homework, DT, drama, origami, French, Art, and sports clubs.
My child has said they are not keen on staying for a club, should they attend?
