Community Celebration Event December 2017

Our first ever Community Celebration Event was held on Friday December 1st 2017 from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. The event was a fantastic opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to come together to share and celebrate the diversity of our community.

Particular thanks to David Milman and the Chartwells team, as well as our many parents supporting us to provide the food, to the PTA team for being such a support, Shakira Spencer for the incredible music, Mrs Graham and Mr Anderson for allowing us use of the hall, Miss Arnell and Mrs Plummer for getting the event off the ground, Mrs Farmer for ordering the food and Mr Cooley for being so supportive on a very late Friday night.

A final thanks to all the staff who came too and to Miss Hanley for inspiring the community celebration.

Our parents loved sharing food and stories and it was a great success. Our next celebration will take place in the Spring term!
